Creative Strategy & Concepting
Concepts built from customer reviews, support tickets and competitor teardowns, organised into named angles you can track performance against over time.
Twenty to forty tested assets a month, plus the product photography your store runs on — shot for a category where buyers zoom in before they buy.
Delivered remotely for brands across Seattle and Washington.
Ad platforms took targeting away and handed it to the algorithm. What is left is the concept, and concepts fatigue in ten to fourteen days. A brand shipping four assets a quarter is not competing with one shipping forty a month, whatever the media buyer does with the budget. That part is the same everywhere.
What is different in Seattle is what the creative has to do. This is a market of researched purchases. A shell jacket, a burr grinder, a keyboard, a limited-run figure — buyers zoom into the images, read the spec, watch a demo and compare before they commit. Aspirational lifestyle footage does not close that. Demonstration does: the fabric under water, the grind consistency, the scale reference, the thing being used by someone it obviously belongs to.
So it runs on a schedule, with the concepts sourced from the places your buyers already tell you what they need: reviews, support tickets and — for anyone selling on a marketplace — the questions section, which is the single richest objection list most brands own and almost none of them mine. Those become named angles reported on by concept rather than by file. The product photography and page content come from the same brief, so the spec claim made in the ad is evidenced on the page the click lands on.
Seattle's production conditions are a genuine constraint and, handled properly, an asset. From October to April, natural light is flat, low and short — usable outdoor windows can be a couple of hours, and a shoot day planned around blue sky will not happen. We schedule accordingly and lean into controlled studio work through the wet months, batching production so cost per asset falls. The upside is that this is one of the few places you can shoot a rain shell in actual rain, a traction sole on wet Pioneer Square cobbles, or a thermos on a genuinely cold Cascade trailhead, and have it read as real rather than staged. For gear brands that authenticity outperforms polish. Coffee is the opposite discipline: pour, crema, bloom and grind all need controlled light and a macro lens, and no amount of location charm substitutes for it.
The same standard of work we run for every client — applied to a Seattle brand’s realities.
Full service detailConcepts built from customer reviews, support tickets and competitor teardowns, organised into named angles you can track performance against over time.
Twenty to forty static, motion and UGC assets a month in the aspect ratios each platform needs, structured for hook, format and angle testing.
Creator briefing, sourcing and management for authentic testimonial, unboxing and demo content, with usage rights secured for paid media.
Studio and lifestyle shoots covering PDP galleries, scale references, detail shots and the in-context imagery collection pages need to sell.
Product descriptions, collection copy, landing pages and email design written against the same positioning as the ads driving traffic to them.
Results rolled up by concept, hook and format so you learn which angles work, not just which files did. Winners get iterated, losers get retired.
We do not work off a rate card. Every Seattle engagement starts with a fixed statement of work — named deliverables, named dates, one number — written after we have looked at your store, not before. If a smaller first step would serve you better, we will say so.
Get this scopedWe read your reviews, support tickets and post-purchase survey responses. The best hooks are already written by your customers in their own words.
Customer language becomes five to eight named angles, each with a clear promise and objection to answer. Angles get tested before production scales.
Studio shoots, creator content and motion design produced in monthly batches so cost per asset drops as volume rises.
Assets ship into a structured testing calendar with consistent naming, so performance can be read by concept and hook rather than by ad ID.
Winning angles get new hooks, formats and cuts. Fatigued assets get refreshed before performance decays instead of after.
“Same four ads had been running since January and our CPMs climbed every month we left them up. They shipped about thirty assets in the first month, and the part that mattered was the tagging — we could finally read performance by angle instead of by file name. Fitment anxiety beat every discount ad we have ever run. We would not have guessed that in a hundred brainstorms.”
Thirty minutes with the strategist who would actually run your account. We screen-share your store, read your data live, and tell you the three highest-value things we can see from the outside.
