Interiors, lighting & homeware
Long dark winters make home categories a year-round rather than seasonal purchase, and Shopify handles finish variants and freight-class shipping without custom development.
Swedish brands reach their second market early. We build the Shopify store that survives it — Klarna and Swish at home, euro pricing abroad, one catalogue behind both.
Stockholm is eight hours ahead of Mountain Time, so we overlap for the last part of your working day — roughly 16:00 to 19:00 in Stockholm is our morning. Calls and reviews are scheduled inside that window; outside it the work moves through written handovers, which usually means you open a completed update rather than wait for a reply.
Stockholm's commerce economy is unusually concentrated for a city its size. Norrmalm holds the head offices and the retail core, Södermalm carries an extraordinary density of small brands, studios and creative production, Kista runs the technology corridor north of the city, Solna and Sickla anchor the large-format retail and logistics, and Östermalm holds the premium end. The consumer base is near-cashless, early to adopt, extremely comfortable buying online, and fluent enough in English that cross-border selling starts without a translation project. The catch is that fluency is not the same as preference — domestic conversion still improves measurably in Swedish.
The operating calendar has two features that catch outside agencies out. July is effectively a national pause: much of the country takes its holiday at once, suppliers slow, and campaigns launched then land in an empty room. And the winter is where the money is — Black Friday has become disproportionately large in Sweden, Q4 carries the year, and mellandagsrea between Christmas and New Year is a genuine second peak rather than a clearance afterthought. Delivery culture is its own subject: parcel lockers and service-point collection are the default rather than the fallback, which means the delivery selector at checkout does more conversion work here than shipping speed does. And Sweden kept the krona, so pricing for the eurozone is a deliberate commercial decision rather than something the platform does for you.
Each page covers how we run that service specifically for Stockholm brands — the local context, the constraints, and what we deliver.
Custom Shopify and Shopify Plus storefronts designed around your catalogue, built in clean Liquid, and launched with a measured conversion baseline.
Plus-tier engineering for brands that have outgrown a standard theme: checkout extensions, Shopify Functions, B2B, Markets and headless Hydrogen storefronts.
Move to Shopify with your catalogue, customers, order history and organic traffic intact. Redirect parity is signed off before we touch DNS.
A continuous experimentation programme on your Shopify store: research, hypotheses, prioritised tests and every result reported in full, losers included.
Technical and content SEO built for Shopify catalogues, plus generative engine optimisation so your products surface inside AI answers.
Google Ads for Shopify catalogues: Merchant Center feed health, Shopping and Performance Max structure, brand and non-brand separated, and weekly query mining.
Facebook and Instagram for Shopify brands: Advantage+ and catalogue campaigns, Conversions API signal repair, a creative cadence that outruns fatigue, and geo holdouts to check the claim.
Amazon, TikTok Shop and Walmart run as a discovery channel that feeds your Shopify store, with listings, PPC and margin managed together.
Klaviyo built as a retention system: behavioural flows, RFM segmentation, SMS used sparingly, and owned channels pushed toward 25-40% of total revenue.
Static, video and UGC creative produced on a monthly testing calendar, plus the product photography and page content your store and ads run on.
GA4, server-side tracking, Conversions API and consent mode implemented properly, plus reporting that ties every channel back to contribution margin.
A named Shopify developer and strategist on a fixed sprint cadence: app stack owned, theme kept clean, ranked backlog shipped every month. The first stabilisation pass typically cancels around $1,840/mo of redundant app spend.
The categories that dominate Stockholm’s commerce economy — and what each one needs from a Shopify build.
Long dark winters make home categories a year-round rather than seasonal purchase, and Shopify handles finish variants and freight-class shipping without custom development.
Drop calendars, restock notifications and size guidance that converts EU sizing for UK and US buyers do the work that pretty photography alone cannot.
Layering guidance, materials detail and temperature ratings close sales that a spec-free product page quietly loses.
Subscription cadence, bundle logic and per-country food labelling rules all belong in the store rather than in a spreadsheet.
Age and standards information, plus gifting and registry paths, are what separate a browsing parent from a buying one.
Districts we work across
Klarna and Swish in the right order, service-point and locker selection presented clearly, and address handling that behaves for Swedish formats. These are small builds with outsized effects on completion rate.
SEK, DKK, NOK and EUR pricing set per market through Shopify Markets, with OSS VAT configured so filing stays in Sweden as you scale into the rest of the union.
With July effectively gone and Black Friday to mellandagsrea carrying the year, the build and test work has to be finished before the autumn. We plan backwards from that.

All case studies8-figure DTC brand, ~140 SKUs, US + CA · Shopify Plus (migrated from Magento 2)
Magento 2 cost $9k a month in hosting, extensions and emergency dev before a single feature shipped. Mobile LCP sat at 5.4 seconds and mobile converted at less than half the desktop rate across 68% of sessions. The named constraint: 11,412 indexed URLs and a top-3 organic position on their hero category, so a migration that lost rankings would cost more than the platform ever saved.
~$6M/yr DTC, 900+ SKUs across size and colour variants, US · Shopify Plus
Returns ran at 31% and refund cost consumed the entire paid media margin. One size chart image served 40 different fits, and 62% of add-to-carts started on a collection page that never showed variant availability. The named constraint: no new product photography budget, so every fix had to come out of the existing asset library and the review corpus.
Denmark is roughly six million people, and Germany is a five-hour drive. Copenhagen brands export by default — we build the Shopify store that makes that profitable rather than merely possible.
GermanyGerman ecommerce has rules — legal ones and behavioural ones — and a theme built for a US brand breaks both quietly. We build Berlin stores that pass both tests and then sell across the border.
NetherlandsA small home market attached to the best distribution network in Europe. We build Amsterdam brands a Shopify store that sells in Dutch at home and in four more currencies across the border.
Thirty minutes with the strategist who would actually run your account. We screen-share your store, read your data live, and tell you the three highest-value things we can see from the outside.
