Why St. Louis brands come to us for this

  • Plant and process capture planned around your production schedule and floor safety rules, not a studio booking
  • One capture day briefed to produce months of ad cutdowns instead of a single hero film
  • Spec-accurate product photography with consistent lighting and scale references across large parts catalogs
  • Fit, proportion and durability shown honestly for footwear, leather and workwear so returns do not do it for you
  • Food and gifting shot as it arrives — packaging, cold pack, unboxing — because that is the actual objection

Creative here has to solve two very different problems in the same engagement. On the paid side you need volume — enough distinct concepts each month to keep testing honest and fatigue at bay. On the storefront side you need accuracy, because a buyer choosing a fitting, a boot width or a gift box is making a decision from your photograph and will return the item if the photograph lied.

The volume side runs on process content. Machines, hands, materials, the quality check, the operator who has done this for twenty-two years. It is cheap to capture, impossible to fake and specific enough that it does not look like every other ad in the feed. We build a shot list around the operations you already run daily, so a single capture day produces months of cutdowns rather than one hero film.

The accuracy side is more technical and less glamorous. Consistent lighting and scale references across a large parts catalog. Fit and proportion shown honestly for footwear, leather and workwear, including on the range of body types who actually buy. Food shot as it arrives, not only as it is plated — because for a shipped-food brand the packaging shot answers the real objection, which is whether it survives the trip.

Capture days scheduled around production, not around a studio calendar

Shooting inside a working plant is a logistics exercise before it is a creative one. The line runs on a schedule, the interesting operation might happen twice a week, safety rules govern where a camera can stand, and the person who explains the process best is usually the one who cannot be pulled off the floor at short notice. We plan capture days around your production schedule rather than ours, brief a local crew properly so the day is not spent explaining what a cutaway is, and shoot for a defined set of concepts rather than gathering footage and deciding later. ConversionEX works from Albuquerque and directs these shoots remotely with crews sourced in the region — for food work that often means shooting on The Hill or in the client's own kitchen, for footwear and leather it means the workshop, and for industrial it means the floor. Direction, shot list, review and edit are ours; the camera is local, which is both cheaper and faster than flying a crew in.

Scope

What Creative & Content includes

The same standard of work we run for every client — applied to a St. Louis brand’s realities.

Full service detail
01

Creative Strategy & Concepting

Concepts built from customer reviews, support tickets and competitor teardowns, organised into named angles you can track performance against over time.

02

Monthly Ad Creative Volume

Twenty to forty static, motion and UGC assets a month in the aspect ratios each platform needs, structured for hook, format and angle testing.

03

UGC & Creator Sourcing

Creator briefing, sourcing and management for authentic testimonial, unboxing and demo content, with usage rights secured for paid media.

04

Product & Lifestyle Photography

Studio and lifestyle shoots covering PDP galleries, scale references, detail shots and the in-context imagery collection pages need to sell.

05

Store Content & Copy

Product descriptions, collection copy, landing pages and email design written against the same positioning as the ads driving traffic to them.

06

Creative Performance Reporting

Results rolled up by concept, hook and format so you learn which angles work, not just which files did. Winners get iterated, losers get retired.

Scoped and quoted for your St. Louis store

We do not work off a rate card. Every St. Louis engagement starts with a fixed statement of work — named deliverables, named dates, one number — written after we have looked at your store, not before. If a smaller first step would serve you better, we will say so.

How it runs

From kickoff to results

01

Voice-of-Customer Mining

We read your reviews, support tickets and post-purchase survey responses. The best hooks are already written by your customers in their own words.

02

Angle Development

Customer language becomes five to eight named angles, each with a clear promise and objection to answer. Angles get tested before production scales.

03

Production

Studio shoots, creator content and motion design produced in monthly batches so cost per asset drops as volume rises.

04

Test & Learn

Assets ship into a structured testing calendar with consistent naming, so performance can be read by concept and hook rather than by ad ID.

05

Iterate the Winners

Winning angles get new hooks, formats and cuts. Fatigued assets get refreshed before performance decays instead of after.

Clients on this work

-24% cost per acquisition

“Same four ads had been running since January and our CPMs climbed every month we left them up. They shipped about thirty assets in the first month, and the part that mattered was the tagging — we could finally read performance by angle instead of by file name. Fitment anxiety beat every discount ad we have ever run. We would not have guessed that in a hundred brainstorms.”

FAQ

Creative & Content in St. Louis — your questions

Yes, with planning. We work from your schedule, identify the two or three operations worth capturing, and shoot around them rather than asking the line to stop. Safety briefing and PPE are handled before the day. In practice the disruption is smaller than most operations managers expect — the constraint is usually access permissions and the availability of the one person who explains the process well.

By building a repeatable rig and shooting in batches rather than treating each item as a set-up. Fixed lighting, fixed camera position, a consistent scale reference, and a naming convention that maps straight to SKUs. Hero products get individual treatment; the long tail gets the rig. The output is a catalog that looks coherent, which matters more for conversion than any single image being beautiful.

It does, and it often works better without a talking head. The story can be carried by hands, machines, materials and voiceover, or by a long-serving employee who is more comfortable than the owner. What matters is that the specificity is real — a named process, a real reason a decision was made. A polished actor reading a script about heritage performs worse than an uncomfortable owner saying something true.

Enough that you are always testing rather than defending one winner, which for most brands at this size means a handful of genuinely distinct concepts monthly plus variants of whatever is currently working. The number matters less than the distinctness — six edits of the same video is one concept, not six. We set the volume against your spend level so the testing is affordable rather than aspirational.

Both, and they do different jobs. Studio work covers PDP imagery, hero assets and anything needing controlled lighting or brand consistency. Creator content covers testimonial, demo and unboxing formats where polish actually reduces performance.

Yes, and we will flag where they conflict with performance. Guidelines written for print and packaging often forbid the text density and hook framing that in-feed video needs. We usually agree a documented paid-media extension of the brand system in week one.

You do, outright, including working files. Creator content comes with usage rights negotiated up front, and we tell you the term and territory before production so there are no surprises when an ad is performing and the licence expires.
