Creative Strategy & Concepting
Concepts built from customer reviews, support tickets and competitor teardowns, organised into named angles you can track performance against over time.
Content built for Kansas City brands where the product is hot, glossy, one-of-a-kind, or has to be shot before a season closes.
Delivered remotely for brands across Kansas City and Missouri.
This metro produces things that are difficult to photograph and enormously rewarding when photographed well. Smoke and steam are gone in seconds. Sauce reads as sludge under the wrong light and as gloss under the right one. A bark on a brisket needs contrast that flattens if you shoot it like a packshot. And a vintage piece from a West Bottoms warehouse has to communicate scale, patina and condition honestly enough that a buyer commits without touching it. None of that is served by a generic white-background shoot.
There is also a heritage advantage here worth using. Kansas City has a deep bench of illustrators, letterers, designers and paper people, much of it downstream of decades of greeting card and consumer paper work, and that shows up in local packaging and label design that punches far above the size of the businesses making it. When a brand already has that asset, the content job is to extend it consistently into digital rather than override it with whatever performs on a platform this quarter.
The output has to serve three different appetites at once. Product pages need consistent, honest, detail-rich imagery. Paid social needs volume and variety with hooks in the first second. Email and lifecycle need seasonal sets that are ready before the season starts. We plan a shoot to produce all three from the same day rather than doing three separate productions for the same product, and we build a shot list your team can add to between shoots.
Content in Kansas City has a hard calendar. Outdoor and grilling imagery has to be captured while the weather cooperates, which in practice means summer, not the week you need it in October. Gift-set photography has to exist before November because that is when it is deployed, and shooting it in November means you are already late. Autumn competition and market appearances are once-a-year footage opportunities that cannot be recreated in a studio. So we build a production calendar that runs a season ahead: outdoor and process capture in the warm months, gifting and studio sets in late summer, and a running capture routine your team executes on production days so the library keeps growing between shoots. For heavy and oversized goods we also shoot scale deliberately — a piece of furniture or a large-format product next to a human reference — because the most common return in that category comes from a buyer who misjudged size from a photo.
The same standard of work we run for every client — applied to a Kansas City brand’s realities.
Full service detailConcepts built from customer reviews, support tickets and competitor teardowns, organised into named angles you can track performance against over time.
Twenty to forty static, motion and UGC assets a month in the aspect ratios each platform needs, structured for hook, format and angle testing.
Creator briefing, sourcing and management for authentic testimonial, unboxing and demo content, with usage rights secured for paid media.
Studio and lifestyle shoots covering PDP galleries, scale references, detail shots and the in-context imagery collection pages need to sell.
Product descriptions, collection copy, landing pages and email design written against the same positioning as the ads driving traffic to them.
Results rolled up by concept, hook and format so you learn which angles work, not just which files did. Winners get iterated, losers get retired.
We do not work off a rate card. Every Kansas City engagement starts with a fixed statement of work — named deliverables, named dates, one number — written after we have looked at your store, not before. If a smaller first step would serve you better, we will say so.
Get this scopedWe read your reviews, support tickets and post-purchase survey responses. The best hooks are already written by your customers in their own words.
Customer language becomes five to eight named angles, each with a clear promise and objection to answer. Angles get tested before production scales.
Studio shoots, creator content and motion design produced in monthly batches so cost per asset drops as volume rises.
Assets ship into a structured testing calendar with consistent naming, so performance can be read by concept and hook rather than by ad ID.
Winning angles get new hooks, formats and cuts. Fatigued assets get refreshed before performance decays instead of after.
“Same four ads had been running since January and our CPMs climbed every month we left them up. They shipped about thirty assets in the first month, and the part that mattered was the tagging — we could finally read performance by angle instead of by file name. Fitment anxiety beat every discount ad we have ever run. We would not have guessed that in a hundred brainstorms.”
Thirty minutes with the strategist who would actually run your account. We screen-share your store, read your data live, and tell you the three highest-value things we can see from the outside.
