Creative & Content Production in Dublin

The thing that sells an Irish product is the evidence that it is actually Irish — and that has to be shot, not claimed.

Delivered remotely for brands across Dublin and Ireland.

Why Dublin brands come to us for this

  • Provenance shoots at the mill, workshop or bench, because visible process outperforms the word handcrafted
  • Knitwear galleries built to prevent returns: stitch detail, drape in motion, model height and size worn
  • Scale and unboxing imagery for hampers and gift sets, so the buyer knows what actually arrives
  • One production day cut for EU, GB and US, with market-appropriate copy and claims language
  • Diaspora customer footage — unboxings and testimonials from the markets where the gift is received

Every competitor in your category says handcrafted, traditional and authentic. Those words have been worn smooth. What has not been worn smooth is footage of the actual loom, the actual hands, the actual workshop bench in the Liberties or the mill in the west, with a person who can explain what they are doing. That footage is the single most defensible creative asset an Irish brand can own, and it is the reason the same product photographed on a white background loses to a competitor with a camera and a story.

The second thing Dublin brands underinvest in is scale and detail imagery, and it costs them returns. A knitwear buyer in another country cannot feel the weight of the yarn, so the gallery has to do it: stitch close-ups, drape on a moving body, model height and size worn, the difference between the same jumper on two different builds. A hamper buyer cannot judge size from a styled flat lay, so the gallery needs a scale reference and an honest shot of what actually arrives in the box. These are not nice-to-haves, they are the difference between a return and a repeat customer.

And the production has to be economical, because most Irish brands are running a small team and cannot shoot four times a year. So we plan a shoot day to produce for three markets and both jobs at once: PDP gallery and collection imagery on one side, a month or more of ad concepts on the other, in the aspect ratios each platform needs. Same day, same crew, three market cuts with different copy and different claims where the regulations require it.

Local context

Irish light, Irish weather, and one shoot day that has to do everything

Production planning here has constraints that a studio brief ignores. Outdoor and location work — coastline, stone, wool, workshop interiors — is genuinely dependent on weather that changes hourly, and daylight in December runs to roughly seven and a half usable hours in Dublin against nearly seventeen in June. That is a scheduling fact, not a complaint: it means the gifting campaign has to be shot in late summer, contingency days have to be built in for location work, and anything that must exist by October cannot be planned for a September shoot. Meanwhile the same day's footage has to be cut three ways. Skincare and body care are the sharpest example: an ingredient or benefit claim that is fine for one market may need different wording for another, and cosmetic claims language is not something to improvise in a caption. We brief the shoot around what each market's version needs to say before anyone books a crew, rather than discovering it in the edit.

Scope

What Creative & Content includes

The same standard of work we run for every client — applied to a Dublin brand’s realities.

Full service detail
01

Creative Strategy & Concepting

Concepts built from customer reviews, support tickets and competitor teardowns, organised into named angles you can track performance against over time.

02

Monthly Ad Creative Volume

Twenty to forty static, motion and UGC assets a month in the aspect ratios each platform needs, structured for hook, format and angle testing.

03

UGC & Creator Sourcing

Creator briefing, sourcing and management for authentic testimonial, unboxing and demo content, with usage rights secured for paid media.

04

Product & Lifestyle Photography

Studio and lifestyle shoots covering PDP galleries, scale references, detail shots and the in-context imagery collection pages need to sell.

05

Store Content & Copy

Product descriptions, collection copy, landing pages and email design written against the same positioning as the ads driving traffic to them.

06

Creative Performance Reporting

Results rolled up by concept, hook and format so you learn which angles work, not just which files did. Winners get iterated, losers get retired.

Scoped and quoted for your Dublin store

We do not work off a rate card. Every Dublin engagement starts with a fixed statement of work — named deliverables, named dates, one number — written after we have looked at your store, not before. If a smaller first step would serve you better, we will say so.

How it runs

From kickoff to results

01

Voice-of-Customer Mining

We read your reviews, support tickets and post-purchase survey responses. The best hooks are already written by your customers in their own words.

02

Angle Development

Customer language becomes five to eight named angles, each with a clear promise and objection to answer. Angles get tested before production scales.

03

Production

Studio shoots, creator content and motion design produced in monthly batches so cost per asset drops as volume rises.

04

Test & Learn

Assets ship into a structured testing calendar with consistent naming, so performance can be read by concept and hook rather than by ad ID.

05

Iterate the Winners

Winning angles get new hooks, formats and cuts. Fatigued assets get refreshed before performance decays instead of after.

“Same four ads had been running since January and our CPMs climbed every month we left them up. They shipped about thirty assets in the first month, and the part that mattered was the tagging — we could finally read performance by angle instead of by file name. Fitment anxiety beat every discount ad we have ever run. We would not have guessed that in a hundred brainstorms.”

FAQ

Creative & Content in Dublin — your questions

Usually the latter, and it works well. We are in New Mexico, so for location and maker footage we brief and art-direct an Irish photographer or videographer you already trust, or one we help you find, and we handle the shot list, the concept plan and the edit. What we bring is knowing which shots earn their place in a paid test and which ones only look nice in a mood board.

Ask your customers. Gift categories generate genuine emotional reactions at the point of receipt, and a small structured programme — a post-delivery request, clear guidance, and proper usage rights — produces unboxing and reaction footage from Boston, Chicago or Melbourne that no studio can fake. It is also the cheapest high-performing creative most Irish brands have access to and the one most consistently left on the table.

The imagery, almost always. The words, not always. Product photography, process footage and lifestyle work travel fine across EU, GB and US audiences. What has to change is copy, claims language and sometimes the model or setting where the cultural reference does not land. We plan the market variants into the shot list so you are producing three finished sets from one day rather than reshooting in March.

In fit-dependent and size-dependent categories it is one of the biggest levers available. Most returns in knitwear and gifting are not quality complaints, they are expectation failures — the fit was different, the piece was smaller, the colour read differently on a phone. Photography that shows drape, scale and true colour reduces those before they happen, which is worth far more than the shoot costs in a category with international return shipping.

At $50,000 monthly spend, twenty to thirty tested assets is a sensible floor. Above $200,000 you want forty or more. The right number is whatever keeps a fresh concept entering testing before the current winner fatigues, which is typically every ten to fourteen days.

Both, and they do different jobs. Studio work covers PDP imagery, hero assets and anything needing controlled lighting or brand consistency. Creator content covers testimonial, demo and unboxing formats where polish actually reduces performance.

Yes, and we will flag where they conflict with performance. Guidelines written for print and packaging often forbid the text density and hook framing that in-feed video needs. We usually agree a documented paid-media extension of the brand system in week one.
