Creative & Content Production in Amsterdam

Ad creative and product content for Amsterdam brands, briefed from customer language and produced on a calendar rather than a campaign deadline.

Delivered remotely for brands across Amsterdam and Netherlands.

Why Amsterdam brands come to us for this

  • Shoots briefed from return reason codes and support questions, so imagery fixes the expectation that is actually failing
  • Garment measurements, metric dimensions and fitment detail treated as content deliverables, not as data entry
  • Dutch, Flemish and German concepts planned at brief stage and shot in the same block, never subtitled afterwards
  • Creator sourcing in-market so the face and voice match the country the ad is running in
  • Interiors and lighting shot for finish and scale under normal light, because the buyer is matching it to a room they can see

The categories this city exports are all won or lost on detail. Denim sells on fabric weight, stretch recovery, rise and the honest measurement of a leg opening. Lighting and furniture sell on material, finish under real light and the dimension a buyer is measuring against a wall. Bike parts sell on the specification that confirms it fits. Plants and bulbs sell on what the thing will actually look like in a season, not on the day it arrives. Creative that leads with mood and withholds the detail performs badly in these categories and produces returns when it does perform.

So the content programme has two jobs that are usually run as one department in a good brand and as none in a struggling one. The first is store content: product imagery that answers the question the buyer is holding, measurement and specification blocks, care and fit guidance, and Dutch copy written by someone who writes Dutch. The second is ad creative volume, which for a brand advertising into a small home market is the pace at which you can put genuinely different angles into the auction before the last one wears out its reach.

Angles come out of what your customers already say. Reviews, support tickets, return reason codes and the questions your team answers on Instagram are a better brief than any workshop, and in this market the return reason codes are the richest source of all, because they tell you exactly which expectation your imagery failed to set. We turn those into named concepts, produce them in blocks so a month of testing comes out of one shoot rather than four, and report performance by angle and hook so the lesson survives the asset.

Local context

Detail content is returns work, and the second language is a second concept

In an EU market where every consumer has fourteen days to change their mind, product content is not decoration, it is the cheapest returns intervention available. A denim PDP with garment measurements per size, model height and size worn, and fabric behaviour described plainly will beat a beautifully shot one that leaves the buyer guessing, and the difference shows up in contribution margin rather than in conversion rate. We brief shoots against the specific reason codes a brand is seeing rather than against a generic shot list. The second thing that changes here is language. A German or Flemish ad is not a subtitle pass on the Dutch winner, it is a separate concept with its own hook and, where the format calls for it, a creator who sounds like they are from that market. We plan for that at the shoot rather than discovering it at the edit, and produce both language tracks out of the same production block so the expansion market is never the one that runs out of assets first.

Scope

What Creative & Content includes

The same standard of work we run for every client — applied to a Amsterdam brand’s realities.

Full service detail
01

Creative Strategy & Concepting

Concepts built from customer reviews, support tickets and competitor teardowns, organised into named angles you can track performance against over time.

02

Monthly Ad Creative Volume

Twenty to forty static, motion and UGC assets a month in the aspect ratios each platform needs, structured for hook, format and angle testing.

03

UGC & Creator Sourcing

Creator briefing, sourcing and management for authentic testimonial, unboxing and demo content, with usage rights secured for paid media.

04

Product & Lifestyle Photography

Studio and lifestyle shoots covering PDP galleries, scale references, detail shots and the in-context imagery collection pages need to sell.

05

Store Content & Copy

Product descriptions, collection copy, landing pages and email design written against the same positioning as the ads driving traffic to them.

06

Creative Performance Reporting

Results rolled up by concept, hook and format so you learn which angles work, not just which files did. Winners get iterated, losers get retired.

Scoped and quoted for your Amsterdam store

We do not work off a rate card. Every Amsterdam engagement starts with a fixed statement of work — named deliverables, named dates, one number — written after we have looked at your store, not before. If a smaller first step would serve you better, we will say so.

How it runs

From kickoff to results

01

Voice-of-Customer Mining

We read your reviews, support tickets and post-purchase survey responses. The best hooks are already written by your customers in their own words.

02

Angle Development

Customer language becomes five to eight named angles, each with a clear promise and objection to answer. Angles get tested before production scales.

03

Production

Studio shoots, creator content and motion design produced in monthly batches so cost per asset drops as volume rises.

04

Test & Learn

Assets ship into a structured testing calendar with consistent naming, so performance can be read by concept and hook rather than by ad ID.

05

Iterate the Winners

Winning angles get new hooks, formats and cuts. Fatigued assets get refreshed before performance decays instead of after.

-24% cost per acquisition

“Same four ads had been running since January and our CPMs climbed every month we left them up. They shipped about thirty assets in the first month, and the part that mattered was the tagging — we could finally read performance by angle instead of by file name. Fitment anxiety beat every discount ad we have ever run. We would not have guessed that in a hundred brainstorms.”

FAQ

Creative & Content in Amsterdam — your questions

Plainly: ConversionEX works out of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and we have no studio, entity or staff in the Netherlands, so we do not run the camera. What we do is the part that decides whether the assets perform, the strategy, the concepts, the shot list, the hooks and the reporting, and we brief and direct an in-market crew or creators against it. Reviewing selects and cuts asynchronously works well across the time difference; you send at the end of your day and notes are waiting the next morning.

Some of it, and less than you would hope. Brand photography is made to be looked at, performance creative is made to stop a scroll and make a point in the first second, and the two rarely overlap. The usual outcome is that your existing library supplies backgrounds, product detail and lifestyle context inside concepts that are built around a hook, while the assets that carry the message get made new. We audit what you have before proposing a production plan.

Less than brands assume if it is planned, far more if it is retrofitted. Adding a second language to a booked shoot means a second talent brief and additional takes, which is incremental. Discovering after the edit that the German market needs its own concepts means commissioning again from scratch. The rule we work to is that language decisions live in the brief, not in post.

Native writers do, and we structure and edit the brief they work from. Machine-translated Dutch reads wrong to your customers in ways that are invisible to a non-native team, and product copy is exactly where that damage lands. We define the angle, the claims, the specification content and the structure, then have it written natively and check it back against the concept rather than against the English original.

At $50,000 monthly spend, twenty to thirty tested assets is a sensible floor. Above $200,000 you want forty or more. The right number is whatever keeps a fresh concept entering testing before the current winner fatigues, which is typically every ten to fourteen days.

Both, and they do different jobs. Studio work covers PDP imagery, hero assets and anything needing controlled lighting or brand consistency. Creator content covers testimonial, demo and unboxing formats where polish actually reduces performance.

Yes, and we will flag where they conflict with performance. Guidelines written for print and packaging often forbid the text density and hook framing that in-feed video needs. We usually agree a documented paid-media extension of the brand system in week one.
