Creative & Content Production in Dubai

Every asset a Dubai brand ships has to exist twice, and the Arabic version cannot be the English one with the text swapped.

Delivered remotely for brands across Dubai and United Arab Emirates.

Why Dubai brands come to us for this

  • Design system built bilingual from the start, with proper Arabic typefaces rather than stretched Latin display type
  • Every performance asset versioned in Arabic and English and tested as separate variants, not treated as one creative
  • Category craft where it matters: reflection control on gold, ritual and material for oud, movement for modest fashion
  • Ramadan and Eid assets produced ahead of the period, when Dubai production capacity is still available
  • Briefs written for asynchronous execution by Dubai-based photographers and creators across an eleven-hour gap

Bilingual creative production is not double the work of a single-language brand, but it is close, and the difference is where quality is won or lost. Arabic type has its own rules — it is connected, it has no capitals, it does not tolerate the letter-spacing and vertical stacking tricks Latin display type gets away with, and stretching a Latin-first font to fake it is visible instantly to anyone who reads the language. Line lengths differ, so a layout that fits in English overflows in Arabic. We build the design system so both versions are first-class, then version every asset from it rather than retrofitting the second language onto a finished file.

The categories Dubai produces are also demanding to shoot. Gold and fine jewellery is a lighting problem before it is a styling problem, and the difference between a competent and an expensive-looking gold shot is entirely in the reflection control. Fragrance and oud have to communicate something invisible, so the work moves to material, ritual, packaging detail and the sampling or decant format that gets a customer to try it. Modest fashion needs movement — drape, weight and length read in video and disappear in a flat lay. Dates, confectionery and gifting live or die on the unboxing.

Then volume, because performance creative is consumed at a rate a single shoot cannot supply. We work to a monthly testing calendar rather than a campaign-by-campaign brief: a set of new concepts, iterations of whatever is currently working, and creator-sourced material to cover the formats a studio does not do well. That calendar is planned around the Hijri year, because Ramadan and Eid assets have to be finished before the period starts and no amount of budget buys production capacity in Dubai once it has.

Producing in Al Quoz while directing from eleven hours behind

The physical production usually happens in Dubai, and that is normal — the studio, warehouse and light-manufacturing belt in Al Quoz is where most of the city's product photography actually gets shot, with the showroom and agency layer around Dubai Design District and Business Bay. What we do is the part that travels: concepting, shot lists, art direction, reference boards, and post. The eleven-hour gap makes that a documentation discipline rather than a conversation. Briefs are written to the level where a local photographer or creator can execute without a call, references are annotated shot by shot, and we review takes asynchronously overnight so the feedback is waiting when the studio opens. It also means location shooting needs planning ahead: filming in public and many commercial locations in Dubai requires permits, and a permit application is not something anyone can resolve inside a narrow overlap window on the shoot day.

Scope

What Creative & Content includes

The same standard of work we run for every client — applied to a Dubai brand’s realities.

Full service detail
01

Creative Strategy & Concepting

Concepts built from customer reviews, support tickets and competitor teardowns, organised into named angles you can track performance against over time.

02

Monthly Ad Creative Volume

Twenty to forty static, motion and UGC assets a month in the aspect ratios each platform needs, structured for hook, format and angle testing.

03

UGC & Creator Sourcing

Creator briefing, sourcing and management for authentic testimonial, unboxing and demo content, with usage rights secured for paid media.

04

Product & Lifestyle Photography

Studio and lifestyle shoots covering PDP galleries, scale references, detail shots and the in-context imagery collection pages need to sell.

05

Store Content & Copy

Product descriptions, collection copy, landing pages and email design written against the same positioning as the ads driving traffic to them.

06

Creative Performance Reporting

Results rolled up by concept, hook and format so you learn which angles work, not just which files did. Winners get iterated, losers get retired.

Scoped and quoted for your Dubai store

We do not work off a rate card. Every Dubai engagement starts with a fixed statement of work — named deliverables, named dates, one number — written after we have looked at your store, not before. If a smaller first step would serve you better, we will say so.

How it runs

From kickoff to results

01

Voice-of-Customer Mining

We read your reviews, support tickets and post-purchase survey responses. The best hooks are already written by your customers in their own words.

02

Angle Development

Customer language becomes five to eight named angles, each with a clear promise and objection to answer. Angles get tested before production scales.

03

Production

Studio shoots, creator content and motion design produced in monthly batches so cost per asset drops as volume rises.

04

Test & Learn

Assets ship into a structured testing calendar with consistent naming, so performance can be read by concept and hook rather than by ad ID.

05

Iterate the Winners

Winning angles get new hooks, formats and cuts. Fatigued assets get refreshed before performance decays instead of after.

“Same four ads had been running since January and our CPMs climbed every month we left them up. They shipped about thirty assets in the first month, and the part that mattered was the tagging — we could finally read performance by angle instead of by file name. Fitment anxiety beat every discount ad we have ever run. We would not have guessed that in a hundred brainstorms.”

FAQ

Creative & Content in Dubai — your questions

No. We concept, art-direct, brief and handle post, and the shoot is executed by photographers, studios or creators in Dubai — usually in or around Al Quoz, where most of the city's production capacity sits. We source and brief them, or work with whoever you already use. Since we are not in the country, the briefs are written to a level of detail that does not depend on someone being reachable on set.

Because it reads as an afterthought to the audience you are trying to reach. Arabic script is connected and needs a typeface designed for it; the reading direction changes where the eye lands, so the composition that put the product on the right in English now competes with the headline; and Arabic copy rarely occupies the same space as its English equivalent. Versioning from the design system solves all three at once.

By working backwards from the Hijri dates and finishing before the month begins. Production capacity across Dubai tightens sharply once Ramadan starts — working hours shorten, crews and creators are less available, and the post-Iftar window is when everything happens. Anything shot during the month costs more, takes longer and arrives after the demand peak has already started.

Yes, and for most Gulf categories you should be using both. We source creators against the audience segment rather than follower count, brief them in the language they publish in, and treat their output as testable performance assets with usage rights agreed upfront rather than one-off posts. What we cannot do is manage a creator relationship that needs someone physically present in Dubai.

At $50,000 monthly spend, twenty to thirty tested assets is a sensible floor. Above $200,000 you want forty or more. The right number is whatever keeps a fresh concept entering testing before the current winner fatigues, which is typically every ten to fourteen days.

Both, and they do different jobs. Studio work covers PDP imagery, hero assets and anything needing controlled lighting or brand consistency. Creator content covers testimonial, demo and unboxing formats where polish actually reduces performance.

Yes, and we will flag where they conflict with performance. Guidelines written for print and packaging often forbid the text density and hook framing that in-feed video needs. We usually agree a documented paid-media extension of the brand system in week one.
