Marketplace Management in Dallas, TX

Most Dallas brands are not missing from Amazon — they are on it four times, listed by three stockists and a liquidator, at four different prices, on a detail page nobody at your company wrote.

Delivered remotely for brands across Dallas and Texas.

Why Dallas brands come to us for this

  • Scattered reseller listings consolidated into one brand-owned parent so reviews and rank stop being split four ways
  • Marketplace-specific pack sizes and bundles that hold margin after fees without competing with an account's case pack
  • MAP and online-authorisation terms drafted into your wholesale agreement, then enforced where enforcement actually works
  • Faire run as a proper wholesale channel rather than a second inbox, with assortments and minimums that match your line
  • Oversized SKUs modelled seller-fulfilled from DFW, where two-day ground reach beats fulfilment-network size tiers

A brand built for market week arrives on a marketplace sideways. Your product is already there, listed by whoever bought it wholesale, described from a line sheet, photographed on a showroom table, priced against last season's closeout. The channel is running whether or not you are running it, and the first job is almost never launching — it is taking ownership of pages that already exist.

That means Brand Registry, consolidating scattered listings into one parent so reviews and rank finally pool in one place, and rebuilding titles, imagery and A+ modules to the platform's spec rather than to a printer's. Then the commercial half, which platforms cannot solve for you: a distribution policy your buyers agree to, MAP written into terms rather than implied, and a decision about which accounts are authorised to resell online at all. Enforcement is a conversation with a retailer far more often than it is a ticket to a marketplace.

Underneath sits a pack-size problem specific to this market. Assortments designed for case packs, minimums and keystone do not survive contact with single-unit retail economics, so we build marketplace-specific pack sizes and bundles that hold margin after referral and fulfilment, and keep them structurally distinct from what your accounts buy. Faire covers the wholesale side properly as its own channel. The direct relationship, the reorder and the customer stay on your Shopify store.

Local context

Market week fills your listing page with sellers you never authorised

Twice a year the Design District moves an enormous amount of apparel, gift, home, lighting and holiday product into hands you have not vetted, and a predictable share of it reappears online within weeks — sometimes at full price by a legitimate boutique, sometimes as last season's assortment liquidated at a number that resets the reference price on your own detail page. That is a Dallas-shaped problem and it has a Dallas-shaped fix: authorisation terms agreed on the showroom floor, not after the fact. Geography helps on the operational side. A warehouse in the DFW corridor reaches most of the country in two ground days, which makes seller-fulfilled genuinely competitive against fulfilment-network economics on the oversized end of the catalogue — furniture, lighting, large decor — where size tiers and long-term storage would otherwise eat the item. And the holiday and gift categories that run this market inbound in late summer, because peak-period storage surcharges and receiving queues punish anyone who plans a Q4 marketplace push in October.

Full service detail
01

Catalogue & Listing Rebuild

Titles, bullets, backend search terms, variation parentage and category nodes rebuilt across Amazon Seller or Vendor Central, TikTok Shop and Walmart. Suppressions and stranded inventory fixed at the cause, not resubmitted.

02

Brand Registry, A+ & Brand Story

Brand Registry enrolment, A+ and Premium A+ modules, Brand Story and Storefront pages built to each platform's image and copy specs. Produced inside this service because the formats are fixed.

03

Sponsored Products, Brands & Display

Campaigns split by intent and margin band, converting search terms promoted to exact, negatives maintained weekly, and targets set from contribution margin instead of a category average.

04

Fulfilment & Fee Economics

FBA against FBM modelled per SKU on size tier, storage, return rate and reimbursement recovery. Some products should never enter a fulfilment centre, and we name which of yours.

05

TikTok Shop & Creator Seeding

Catalogue sync, listing compliance, sample seeding to affiliates, and live and video commerce, run as a mechanic of this channel rather than as a separate affiliate programme.

06

Channel Strategy & the Route Back

SKU allocation, MAP and pricing alignment, marketplace-only bundles and pack sizes, plus the permitted paths home: package inserts, Brand Registry tools and platform-allowed follow-up.

Scoped and quoted for your Dallas store

We do not work off a rate card. Every Dallas engagement starts with a fixed statement of work — named deliverables, named dates, one number — written after we have looked at your store, not before. If a smaller first step would serve you better, we will say so.

How it runs

From kickoff to results

01

Account & Catalogue Audit

Listing quality, suppressions, buy-box history, variation structure, the fee and returns reports and ninety days of search terms. You get the findings whether you hire us or not.

02

Fix the Listings

Parentage, titles, backend terms, imagery and A+ rebuilt before any spend moves. Advertising a listing that converts badly buys traffic for whoever else is in the carousel.

03

Draw the Channel Lines

Which SKUs sell where, at what price, in what pack size, agreed with you in writing. The marketplace should not be bidding against your own store for the same order.

04

Advertise to Margin

Sponsored campaigns rebuilt by intent and margin band, with ACoS and TACoS targets derived from contribution per unit after referral, fulfilment and return costs.

05

Compound & Route Back

Weekly search-term mining, monthly fee and reimbursement review, and the insert and registry mechanics that give a marketplace buyer a reason to reorder on your site.

FAQ

Marketplace Channel in Dallas — your questions

Not with a platform complaint — a marketplace will not police your distribution policy for you, and the goods are usually genuine. What works is commercial: authorisation terms in your wholesale agreement stating who may resell online and under what pricing, applied consistently, with Brand Registry giving you control of the content and imagery on the page itself. Brands that enforce selectively teach their accounts that the policy is decorative, so we would rather help you write one you will actually hold to.

It feels familiar to a wholesale business, which is precisely the trap. First-party means you sell to Amazon at a wholesale price, hand over pricing control, absorb chargebacks and co-op terms, and lose most of your visibility into the end customer. Third-party keeps price, pack size and margin in your hands and costs a referral fee instead of a wholesale discount. For most brands in this metro third-party is the better position, and we will model both against your actual cost of goods before you answer.

Not directly, and shipping a six-pack to a consumer who wanted one is how the channel gets a reputation for being unprofitable. We build marketplace pack sizes deliberately — singles where the item carries a fee well, multipacks where units per order are what save the margin, and bundles that do not exist in your line sheet at all. Keeping them structurally separate also removes the easiest comparison a stockist can make when they see your listing.

No. We work from Albuquerque and there is no showroom or staff on our side anywhere else, so the channel runs remotely and the calendar is what we plan around rather than the room. Practically that means listing and content work is scheduled outside your market weeks, advertising is not being restructured while your team is on the floor, and we travel for kickoff and quarterly review. Central-hours overlap covers the operational day almost entirely.

It can, and that is the failure mode we manage against rather than pretend away. Marketplaces are rented shelf space: the platform owns the shopper, sets the fees and can change both without asking. We use them for the thing they are genuinely good at, which is putting your product in front of people who have never heard of you, then arrange pack sizes, bundles and pricing so the reorder has a reason to happen on your own store.

Not directly, and treat anyone who promises it as a liability. Amazon does not give sellers the buyer's email address, and mining order reports to build a marketing list breaks their terms. The legitimate routes are package inserts offering registration, warranty or a refill incentive, Brand Registry tools such as Customer Engagement and Brand Tailored Promotions that reach your followers inside Amazon, and Buy with Prime on your own storefront where the economics hold. Slower, and it survives an audit.

Google and Meta buy traffic for a store you control. A marketplace is a sales channel with its own search engine, its own ad auction, its own fulfilment network and its own fee schedule. The reporting never reconciles with your Shopify numbers, the failure modes are suppression and buy-box loss rather than creative fatigue, and nothing means anything until the unit economics are modelled after fees.
