Creative Strategy & Concepting
Concepts built from customer reviews, support tickets and competitor teardowns, organised into named angles you can track performance against over time.
Creative is the targeting lever now. We ship a tested volume of it every month — inside the claims boundary your category actually has to live in.
Delivered remotely for brands across San Diego and California.
There is an obvious temptation for a San Diego brand: you have the best backdrop in the country and the light is good three hundred days a year, so you shoot at the beach and hope the vibe does the selling. It works for about two weeks. Then CPMs climb, the concept fatigues around day twelve, and you are back to shooting the same cliff at Torrey Pines with a different model.
Volume and angle discipline are what actually hold performance. We mine your reviews, support tickets and post-purchase surveys for the language customers already use, turn that into five to eight named angles with a clear promise and objection each, and produce twenty to forty assets a month across static, motion and UGC — tagged so performance rolls up by concept and hook rather than by file name.
In restricted categories that pipeline also has to be compliant by construction. The hook, the on-screen text and the creator script all get reviewed against the same claims boundary the ad account runs on, before production rather than after rejection. Reshooting a creator video because the script implied a health outcome is an expensive way to learn where the line is.
San Diego gives you production advantages most cities do not — coastline from Imperial Beach to Oceanside, desert an hour east, year-round shooting weather and a deep pool of surf, skate and fitness creators with genuine credibility in the categories brands here sell. We use all of it. What we do not do is let location substitute for an angle, because the algorithm does not reward scenery, it rewards a hook that stops a scroll. The other local reality is the compliance layer: a Sorrento Valley supplement brand and a Carlsbad hardgoods brand need completely different production processes, one gated by regulatory review and one gated by spec accuracy. And the same team produces your PDP photography, so the ad that promised a specific ingredient dose lands on a product page that shows it — which is the mismatch that quietly ruins most bounce rates.
The same standard of work we run for every client — applied to a San Diego brand’s realities.
Full service detailConcepts built from customer reviews, support tickets and competitor teardowns, organised into named angles you can track performance against over time.
Twenty to forty static, motion and UGC assets a month in the aspect ratios each platform needs, structured for hook, format and angle testing.
Creator briefing, sourcing and management for authentic testimonial, unboxing and demo content, with usage rights secured for paid media.
Studio and lifestyle shoots covering PDP galleries, scale references, detail shots and the in-context imagery collection pages need to sell.
Product descriptions, collection copy, landing pages and email design written against the same positioning as the ads driving traffic to them.
Results rolled up by concept, hook and format so you learn which angles work, not just which files did. Winners get iterated, losers get retired.
We do not work off a rate card. Every San Diego engagement starts with a fixed statement of work — named deliverables, named dates, one number — written after we have looked at your store, not before. If a smaller first step would serve you better, we will say so.
Get this scopedWe read your reviews, support tickets and post-purchase survey responses. The best hooks are already written by your customers in their own words.
Customer language becomes five to eight named angles, each with a clear promise and objection to answer. Angles get tested before production scales.
Studio shoots, creator content and motion design produced in monthly batches so cost per asset drops as volume rises.
Assets ship into a structured testing calendar with consistent naming, so performance can be read by concept and hook rather than by ad ID.
Winning angles get new hooks, formats and cuts. Fatigued assets get refreshed before performance decays instead of after.
“Same four ads had been running since January and our CPMs climbed every month we left them up. They shipped about thirty assets in the first month, and the part that mattered was the tagging — we could finally read performance by angle instead of by file name. Fitment anxiety beat every discount ad we have ever run. We would not have guessed that in a hundred brainstorms.”
Thirty minutes with the strategist who would actually run your account. We screen-share your store, read your data live, and tell you the three highest-value things we can see from the outside.
