Creative Strategy & Concepting
Concepts built from customer reviews, support tickets and competitor teardowns, organised into named angles you can track performance against over time.
Creative on a testing calendar for Baltimore brands whose products are hard to photograph and harder to explain in three seconds.
Delivered remotely for brands across Baltimore and Maryland.
Baltimore's best-selling categories are genuinely difficult to shoot. A live crab is not a still life, a bushel does not photograph as luxury, and the moment that actually sells a seafood box is the cooler opening at a table three states away — which is content you have to organise, not content you can stage in a studio. Meanwhile the industrial and lab catalogues have the opposite problem: the product photographs perfectly and communicates nothing, because a machined part against white tells a buyer neither its size nor whether it fits.
So the production plan splits by what the buyer needs to believe. For perishables and specialty food it is arrival and ritual: unboxing at the destination, the ice still packed, the table set, the mallet, the mess. That is creator and customer content, briefed properly and licensed for paid use, not a studio shoot. For industrial and lab lines it is scale references, in-situ placement, fitment detail and clear specification overlays. For the apparel labels working off the local sourcing and pattern bench, it is fit content across real bodies, fabric behaviour and drop-day assets produced ahead of the launch rather than during it.
All of it runs on a calendar rather than as a project. Concepts are mined from your reviews, support tickets and the comment threads under your last winner, organised into named angles, and produced in enough volume that a fresh concept enters testing every week or two. Results roll up by angle, hook and format, so what you learn outlives the asset that taught it.
The production window in this region is dictated by supply. You cannot photograph a fresh product out of season, so the summer and autumn shoots have to carry the gifting campaign that runs in December and the reopening campaign that runs in April — which means we plan shot lists six months ahead against a calendar rather than commissioning creative the month it airs. Location work has real options here: Fells Point and the waterfront for provenance, the Hampden rowhouse blocks for domestic warmth, Station North and the industrial edges for apparel and streetwear that need texture rather than polish. The most valuable asset class, though, is not shot by us at all — it is the destination unboxing, filmed by customers and creators in the places the product travels to, and it exists only if you build a systematic ask into the post-purchase flow. We set that up as a pipeline with briefing, rights and incentives handled, because that one content type outperforms studio work in this category almost every time.
The same standard of work we run for every client — applied to a Baltimore brand’s realities.
Full service detailConcepts built from customer reviews, support tickets and competitor teardowns, organised into named angles you can track performance against over time.
Twenty to forty static, motion and UGC assets a month in the aspect ratios each platform needs, structured for hook, format and angle testing.
Creator briefing, sourcing and management for authentic testimonial, unboxing and demo content, with usage rights secured for paid media.
Studio and lifestyle shoots covering PDP galleries, scale references, detail shots and the in-context imagery collection pages need to sell.
Product descriptions, collection copy, landing pages and email design written against the same positioning as the ads driving traffic to them.
Results rolled up by concept, hook and format so you learn which angles work, not just which files did. Winners get iterated, losers get retired.
We do not work off a rate card. Every Baltimore engagement starts with a fixed statement of work — named deliverables, named dates, one number — written after we have looked at your store, not before. If a smaller first step would serve you better, we will say so.
Get this scopedWe read your reviews, support tickets and post-purchase survey responses. The best hooks are already written by your customers in their own words.
Customer language becomes five to eight named angles, each with a clear promise and objection to answer. Angles get tested before production scales.
Studio shoots, creator content and motion design produced in monthly batches so cost per asset drops as volume rises.
Assets ship into a structured testing calendar with consistent naming, so performance can be read by concept and hook rather than by ad ID.
Winning angles get new hooks, formats and cuts. Fatigued assets get refreshed before performance decays instead of after.
“Same four ads had been running since January and our CPMs climbed every month we left them up. They shipped about thirty assets in the first month, and the part that mattered was the tagging — we could finally read performance by angle instead of by file name. Fitment anxiety beat every discount ad we have ever run. We would not have guessed that in a hundred brainstorms.”
Thirty minutes with the strategist who would actually run your account. We screen-share your store, read your data live, and tell you the three highest-value things we can see from the outside.
