Creative & Content Production in New York

Ad concepts, product photography and page content produced on a testing calendar, without a Manhattan studio day rate attached to every frame.

Delivered remotely for brands across New York and New York.

Why New York brands come to us for this

  • Studio craft where it pays, creator volume where polish costs performance — and clear rules for which is which.
  • Twenty to forty tested assets a month, tagged so you learn by concept rather than by file name.
  • Seasonal batching so autumn and outerwear content is shot in July, not in a panic in September.
  • Ad and landing page produced by the same team, so the message survives the click.
  • In-store and city-context content that works across paid, email and your location pages.

New York brands rarely have a taste problem. The city is full of art directors, stylists, photographers and post houses, and most local brands look better than their national competitors. What they usually have is a volume problem: four beautiful assets a quarter, produced expensively, running until CPMs make the decision for them.

Meta and TikTok took targeting away and gave it to the algorithm. The lever left is the concept, and fatigue now sets in around ten to fourteen days. Four assets a quarter cannot feed that, however good they are. So we run creative as a production line with a testing calendar attached: named angles drawn from your own reviews and support tickets, structured variants, and every asset tagged so performance rolls up by concept rather than file name.

The same team produces your product photography and page content, which is how the ad and the landing page finally stop looking like they came from different companies — a disconnect that is unusually common here, where the brand work and the performance work are typically bought from two different studios.

Local context

New York taste, without New York day rates on every asset

This city has the deepest creative talent pool in the country and prices to match, which pushes brands into a bad trade: a small number of expensive hero assets and nothing to test. We split the difference. High-craft studio work where craft actually pays — PDP galleries, campaign hero imagery, the fabric and detail shots an apparel or jewellery buyer needs before committing — and higher-volume, lower-polish creator and motion content for in-feed testing, where polish frequently reduces performance. Seasonality is a factor too: New York's weather genuinely swings, and outerwear, layering and transitional content has a narrow window when it lands as relevant rather than early. We batch shoots so the autumn assets exist in July, and so the studio content for a February market is not being scheduled in January. And for brands with a physical door, in-store and city-context content does double duty across paid social, email and the store's own local search presence.

Scoped and quoted for your New York store

We do not work off a rate card. Every New York engagement starts with a fixed statement of work — named deliverables, named dates, one number — written after we have looked at your store, not before. If a smaller first step would serve you better, we will say so.

How it runs

From kickoff to results

01

Voice-of-Customer Mining

We read your reviews, support tickets and post-purchase survey responses. The best hooks are already written by your customers in their own words.

02

Angle Development

Customer language becomes five to eight named angles, each with a clear promise and objection to answer. Angles get tested before production scales.

03

Production

Studio shoots, creator content and motion design produced in monthly batches so cost per asset drops as volume rises.

04

Test & Learn

Assets ship into a structured testing calendar with consistent naming, so performance can be read by concept and hook rather than by ad ID.

05

Iterate the Winners

Winning angles get new hooks, formats and cuts. Fatigued assets get refreshed before performance decays instead of after.

In their words

Clients on this work

-24% cost per acquisition

“Same four ads had been running since January and our CPMs climbed every month we left them up. They shipped about thirty assets in the first month, and the part that mattered was the tagging — we could finally read performance by angle instead of by file name. Fitment anxiety beat every discount ad we have ever run. We would not have guessed that in a hundred brainstorms.”

FAQ

Creative & Content in New York — your questions

Frequently, and it is often the right structure. They hold the brand and campaign craft; we hold the testing volume, the angle development and the performance readout. What we insist on is owning the testing calendar and the briefs, because creative is the highest-leverage variable in paid social and it cannot be scheduled around a campaign shoot.

More than you would need almost anywhere else, because New York CPMs exhaust a concept faster. When a thousand impressions cost what they cost here, a winner that would coast for three weeks in a cheaper market is spent in ten to twelve days, so thirty to forty tested assets a month is the working floor once spend is scaling. The thing to protect is the concept pipeline rather than the shoot budget. For high-AOV categories — fine jewelry especially — we shift the mix toward fewer, better-lit studio setups and many more edit variants cut from each one.

Both, depending on what the asset needs. Product and studio work is scheduled as batched shoots so cost per asset drops with volume, and creator content is sourced and briefed remotely. We travel for shoots that genuinely require the location or the product on site — which for apparel and jewellery is more often than not.

Yes, and we will price the disagreement for you, which tends to end it faster than a debate does. New York brand books are usually authored by a design studio for print, packaging and a wholesale presentation, and the rules that make a SoHo window work suppress the hook framing a feed needs. At this market's CPMs, a guideline that costs you a fifth of your click-through has a specific monthly dollar value, and we put that number on the page. Then we agree a documented paid-media extension of the system, once, in week one.

At $50,000 monthly spend, twenty to thirty tested assets is a sensible floor. Above $200,000 you want forty or more. The right number is whatever keeps a fresh concept entering testing before the current winner fatigues, which is typically every ten to fourteen days.

Both, and they do different jobs. Studio work covers PDP imagery, hero assets and anything needing controlled lighting or brand consistency. Creator content covers testimonial, demo and unboxing formats where polish actually reduces performance.

Yes, and we will flag where they conflict with performance. Guidelines written for print and packaging often forbid the text density and hook framing that in-feed video needs. We usually agree a documented paid-media extension of the brand system in week one.
